Chalet Cachat - top quality chalet in a great location in the centre of Chamonix next to the beginners slopes of the savoy which are situated at the bottom of the Brevent ski area.
The chalet is the old family house of the Cachat family and is over 200years old. It has been tastefully furnished mixing the old world with the new. It hosts 6 bedrooms 3 double/twin with shower and WC 2 double rooms with bath and WC 1 double 1 bathroom with small bath ,shower and WC 1 separate WC In the living/dinning room there is a log fire TV with all English channels DVD/CD player and comfortable sofas. This chalet is south facing with good views of Mt Blanc there is a wooden sun deck complete with a 6 person hot tub.

Location

This charming house is situated in a prime location set back from the road in a large hedged garden 100 meters from the nursery slopes of the savoy, which lie at the bottom of the Brevent ski are so you can come down from the Brevent ski across the savoy just about to the front door.

Our recommend ski Shop, Desailloud Sports is 50metres from the chalet so can drop your skis off for a service at the end of the day and pick them up later that evening or first thing in the morning. You will also fine they have a large range of hire ski's for all levels.

The Nautique centre with a 25 meter pool with slide plus sauna rooms and solarium are 200 meters away. 50 meters of the front door is Rue Joseph Vallot this is one of the main streets in Chamonix and you are a 5min walk to the market place and all the shops, bars and restaurants.

Chalet Service

Included in the Catered Price:
At Chalet Cachat you will receive top service in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. We start the day with a substantial breakfast that includes fresh fruit, a choice of cereals, yoghurts, croissants and fresh bread plus eggs bacon or sausages. Fruit juice tea & coffee

On your return from the slopes each day, afternoon tea will be laid out with fresh cake, bread and cheese tea & coffee 4 course evening meals using only fresh produce and based on French cuisine are served with wine. There is a cheese course where you will be able try over 12 different cheeses in the week and learn their origins. The meal will be finished off with tea, coffee and chocolates by the log fire.

We are happy to cater for vegetarians or any special dietary requirements.

The chalet will be cleaned daily and you will receive fresh towels twice in the week. One night in the week you will eat out to give the cook a night off, on this day breakfast and afternoon tea will still be served. It you wish to plan the evening out, we would be happy to recommend and advise on a restaurant.

Staff will always be on hand to answer any questions advise on where to ski for your level and weather conditions.

If you would like your lift pass waiting for you on your arrival then we can arrange this service.

We can also help with ski lessons and Vallee Blanche trips and other guided days.

Self Catered Option

Chalet Cachat will be available as a self catered chalet for some weeks in the season. If choose to book the chalet self catered then you will have the use of 6 bedrooms, the kitchen and all living areas. Staff will still live in and have the use of the one shared bathroom.

They will be on hand to help you with general resort information best places to ski with the weather conditions etc. Also give a hand with the workings of the chalet and maintain the hot tub. They will also give the chalet a light clean each day and the mini bus service will also be offered.
